Last week, the QRILL Pet team participated at the Pet Fair Asia 2026 in Shanghai, one of the largest pet industry exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific. This event brings together more than 2,600 exhibitors, attracting over 130,000 trade visitors and 400,000 consumers.
For nearly 30 years, Pet Fair Asia has reflected the rapid growth and evolution of China’s pet industry. Today, it serves as a key platform for brands to gain valuable insight into emerging trends, changing consumer demands, and new business opportunities, while building meaningful partnerships across the value chain.
Over the four days of the event, we strengthened relationships with key accounts, explored new business leads, and connected directly with customers, deepening our understanding of customer needs, market developments, and opportunities for future collaboration.
We observed that China's pet food market is increasingly shifting toward functional nutrition, with growing attention to health benefits, functional certification, and scientifically supported ingredients. As a functional marine ingredient, krill presents opportunities to support customers' product innovation and differentiation in this evolving market. Exciting times for QRILL Pet!
