Two of the most important pet industry events are happening this May in Nürnberg, Germany - Petfood Forum Europe and Interzoo 2022.
For the first time, Petfood Forum Europe will be co-located with Interzoo. There will be a lot of exciting things happening between May 23-27, 2022 at Nuremberg Messe in Germany.

Tonje Dominguez, our QRILL Specialty Animal Nutrition Products Director, and Hanna Lindqvist, Project Leader for the Department of Animal Environment and Health at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, will be presenting a new and innovative technique for measuring the Omega-3 Index (O3I) in pets and how this can be used to map the efficiency of various omega-3 forms used in pet food.
The O3I is the gold standard for determining omega-3 levels in humans. This is a newer, simpler technique that has been available for a while. Due to a new study, this technique is now available for pets. The presentation also includes a second study that shows the way to measure differences in omega-3 status using different sources in pet food.
